Eligibility
- Open to candidates with any science degree with music skills demonstrable
through an audition. - Candidates having a bachelor’s degree in music (at least as a subject) or
Psychology students are also eligible to take up the program. All the candidates will be
selected by a selection committee based on the audition requirements/entrance
test as deemed necessary. - Prospective candidates will be healthcare and allied healthcare professionals
having skills in music (both with formal training/informal training demonstrable
through an audition). - Trained Music therapists having a certificate programme in Music Therapy will also be allowed to attend this course.

Assessment Criteria
- Students will be assessed based on one Theory Examination, one Practical Examination and the evaluation of their Final Project. Additionally, regular assignments will be given at the end of each unit.
- Upon completion, the credits will be uploaded to “ABC” by Galgotias University. Students can use the credits for other degree programs, as per ABC’s and Galgotias’ Guidelines.

Application Procedure
- Click the apply button to redirect to the Galgotias Application Portal.
- Under Select Discipline, choose “Diploma Programme”.
- Under Specialisation, choose “Diploma in Advanced Music Therapy”.
- After submitting the application, open your registered email and click on the email sent by Galgotias University.
- Under Dashboard, click Start your Application.
- Click Apply Now, under Application Form for Diploma and Certificate Courses.
- Choose Regular under Entry Type, and Diploma in Advanced Music Therapy as Course Preference 1. Leave 2 and 3 empty.
- Enter your details and upload the documents, as required. And, complete the fee payment.
- Upon Acceptance, you will receive an Acceptance Letter with all the relevant details. You will be asked to pay a part of the fee to book your seat, and the remaining amount will be due 1 month after the classes begin.

FAQs
Who is this workshop for? Do I need knowledge of Science and Music to understand?
Yes. This course will provide the technical knowledge required to practice Music Therapy as a Certified Therapist. You will need prior technical knowledge in either Science, Music, or both.
What Language will the class be in?
A mix of simple Hindi and English. For the English-speaking audience, we will be arranging English-only workshops as well.
How will the courses be conducted?
The majority of your classes will be held online (through Zoom). Assignments and Exams will be conducted online as well. For any project work, you will be required to conduct research in your local area.
How is the Post Graduate Diploma different from the Advanced Diploma?
The Post-Graduate Diploma includes another 6 months of Internship and Project Work, which allows you to earn 40 Credits in total. These can benefit prospective Graduate Students towards parallel entry through ABC, with accepting institutions.
What tools do I need to attend this class?
Just a computer with access to the internet, and either a quiet environment (or the use of any kind of headphones). We encourage everyone to have their cameras on, but we won’t force it. We will be using Zoom as our meeting client.
